Very nice evening backgrounds to mix up my coloring book collection.Works well with marker or pencil but I wish I used a firmer backing because one of the pictures slightly wrinkled.Light pastel colors seemed to stand out really well.
I really enjoyed the black background on this series of books and this volume 2 is full of animal and alien looking sugar skulls. Fun and easy to color, with some really unique results. the pages are single sided, but I mostly use prismacolor markers and sharpie neons on these, so I would def recommend some scratch paper between pages. If you are using colored pencils you shouldnt have any issues at all
I truly like the drawings but I am disappointed in the paper quality. It reminds me of really thin construction paper. You can imagine how it soaks up a marker and it makes the end of the marker sound and feel rough against the paper.
Amazing coloring book! It has different designs!! I colored it with Crayola Twistable colored pencils today and it took me about one hour to finish. Here is my picture. And bonus I like full black outside (background) and easy for me to color it inside. Really enjoy to color it. This is my second one from Papeterie Bleu.
It's a nice book. It seems really high quality the pages are all really thick. I love the black background! However I'm not to happy about all the skulls being basically the same picture with diffrent patterns. It's really boring.
Gave as a gift and got rave reviews by the artist ! Easy to create colorful images and they look so good against the black. Reminds us of Black velvet paintings of yesteryear. Very fun with gel pens and some gold & silver ones 2.
very dissapointed with book. expected great pics to color. the page usually contains one (1) large skull, head, or torso. not much to color, but will use alot of each color used. (large areas to color) there are no scenery or location like - pictures. simply 1 large head to color.. mad about it
Really fun coloring book. One image per page so no bleed through which is nice. I still use an additional piece of cardboard just to make sure the following page is protected. Images are great, I would recommend. I plan to purchase other books in this series.
