I passed my registry in December 2014, and even though this book is dated, it was VERY helpful. Sure, the questions are not exactly like they are on the registry, but the format is the same. It challenges you to think about what you're doing, and as long as you don't overthink the exam, you'll do well. This is an excellent resource and one that I plan on keeping and using when I need to retest in 10 years.

I HIGHLY recommend this book! It really helped me with the CT Registry. That in conjunction with the MIC CT Registry review, totally worth it. Invest in it and you won't be sorry!

Good info, good condition. I am well pleased. Very helpful in passing the board.

This is a pretty good review although it was written in 1996 which is when the ARRT decided to make the test. So I'm sure there is new information that isn't in this book, but it still had some stuff that I hadn't covered yet. There are 4 different test 150 questions each, just like the real one. Best of all the answers in the back also give a pretty concise reason for why and where they get their information from. For the price I think this is another good resource, but I wouldn't use this alone of course.

I would study all the material you have for the registry and use this book during your final week before the exam to prepare yourself. Time yourself and go over the questions that you did not know then take the exams over and over. They really prepare you for the long hours of test taking and the material is a review of everything. Great guide... I used it and loved it.

This book though a bit outdated is still good for practice questions and answers. His new version is coming out in April and I am eager to get that since it will have current information. In the ever changing medical field with mandated certifications a technologist needs to have as many reasources as possible. This is a good beginning book for review but will not serve as a didactic class.

Good for anatomy and physics review, but not much else. A lot has changed since the book was written in 1996--multi-slice hellical scanning is not even covered in this volume. The protocols are woefully outdated. I therefore do not reccommend this book for registry review; certainly not if you can only afford to buy one book.
