I’m planning to travel to CDMX soon, and thought it would be good to pick up a newly published book on the city. I was delighted when this book arrived. It’s not a conventional travel guide at all, and doesn’t purport to be. Rather, it’s a design-oriented guide to the city’s artsy corners, written by a resident with a love of the city and design. This book finds places where the ordinary is beautiful, and highlights off-the-beaten track sights and shops for the traveler who wants to find special treasures. The book itself is a triumph of design and is fun to peruse in order or randomly. And the book is sturdy and high quality and the pictures are cool. It’s provided much inspiration for my visit!

I loved the easy, helpful and color coordinated chapters. The layout, pictures, text and categories were perfect for what I like when I’m traveling. I have been to Mexico City several times and I was amazed at the new and unique places to visit that I had no idea were there. The colors that the author used were so typically Mexican. I would highly recommend this book to anyone!!!!

This is THE book you need to be inspired by a thriving culture AND to be used a bible for Mexico City travel. I recently returned from a trip and it was perfect thanks to her advice.

I have this book out on my coffee table and friends are always picking it up and commenting. The author truly captured the amazing-ness that is Mexico City.

Beautiful coffee table book but not a great book for bringing on your trip. This book is beautiful—filled with great photos but because of it’s weight it’s not a practical travel book to bring on your trip to CDMX.

Basically Abby Clawson Low curated Mexico City for those of us not fortunate enough to ever live there. Abby explored and took gorgeous photos and we get the ideas and gained knowledge. We were following the author on Instagram and use a lot of her ideas on our trip to Mexico City and we had such a great time. I was thrilled to find out she was making a book. I’m not eloquent enough to figure out how to say it correctly but she so curious about culture and design and so many things and she opened up a whole new world for our family. I wouldn’t have known where to start as Mexico City is so big and rich in history and culture. The Aztecs built a floating city that still stands how many years ago?? Truly this book is a gem and will help you see many of the wonders and beautiful spaces of Mexico City. Abby’s eye and talent is amazing. My sister, my children and I all love her photography and seeing the world through her eyes. My friend just went to Mexico City for Christmas 2018 so I let her borrow my book, especially because her brother is an architect and very interested in art architecture and many of the things Abby shows in the book. I’m just about to order copies for my friend from Lebanon who loves Mexico City and another friend who goes to Mexico City often. I bought the standard hard copy so not sure why it says Kindle:). About to buy 3 more copies for friends.
