A fun and active followup to the first Baby Believer primer, First Bible Basics. This one is great if you have kids who love to move their bodies. My toddlers love imitating the different movements that appear on each page; and each movement is taken from an actual psalm, so your kids get to learn about using their bodies to praise the Lord! Parents will especially love the last couple movements in the book. (Won't spoil it here)Just like in the first book, the board pages are thick and sturdy and have a matte finish. The water color art is so bright and whimsical, making this a book you'll definitely want to show off on your shelf.
I purchased this for my one year old. He rarely likes to sit still for books, but he will sit through this one. It's short, beautiful, and full of scripture to start filling their hearts and minds with. I recommend both this and their first book.
I have given their first book to so many new moms and our church nursery, and was anxious to see this one. It is beautiful, simple, clear and so well done. The book is a lovely reminder to all of us to use our entire body to worship God. It came just in time to be a perfect gift for my grandson's baptism.
Psalms of Praise captures my 3 kids' attention every time. They love the gorgeous illustrations - I think it's the fact that it's kids moving like they do. They love to act out the movements as I read. And they love the verses they already know (we recite the verse for "Lie Down" at bedtime most nights) and are happy to hear the others. Get this book. Show your kids how movement comes from God and is for God in this beautiful, God-honoring story.
My one year old daughter loves the colors and illustrations in this book, and I love that it incorporates the Psalms throughout so as she grows and starts to understand what we're reading to her, we'll be incorporating scripture daily!
This book is beautiful, engaging, and thoughtful. Both my 3.5 and 1 year old LOVE reading it. They are getting sound Biblical scripture (even memorization I may add :) with physical movement! It is so engaging! It is a solid board book, already being well loved and carried all over the house. I'm obsessed with this book! I cannot recommend it highly enough.
This is WONDERFUL! I LOVE the illustrations and the verses chosen. It is way more than I expected. The authors did such a great job.
